V-Bay Tuesday 11/23

Made a quick trip to V-Bay after work. Put the yak in at the park and headed into the cove with the fleet of boats already out there. Found me an open spot and started tossing some plastics on the bottom and found a few good trout. Heard the early bite was really good and I caught the tail end of it. Wind blowing the right way kept the waves down and water good.
Saw one boat trolling baits with the outboard running and catching trout in the wake of his motor. Go figure, so much for the quiet stealth mode.
Must be some migratory trout from the west, they were biting on Hackberry Hustlers?

I've seen that guy out there! In like a 12' jon boat.

I really couldn't tell if he was running his outboard or maybe had a small generator on board. Something just didn't sound right as he scooted by...

Either way, great pics! Glad to hear that VB is heating up. I may have to join the Cajun Navy and get me some!

Beer always taste better outdoors even with fish slime, saltwater and garlic spray mixed in. Can't drink too many in the yak, peeing out of a yak is the toughest skill to master.

Great catch man I guess you power that boat w/ coors light, I see some onboard fuel in them pics...
