Is fishing slowing Down bc of strong cold fronts?

Is/will the speck fishing slow down bc of these strong cold fronts?
What fish is there to target during these winter months if any?!
Are just hang it up until things crank up again?
Hope y'all had a great Thanksgiving my Salty Cajun friends.

My style of fishing is just fixing to get good .
The fish still have to eat. You just have to figure out where and when.

Fishing is about to get good

If you're not one of the many pansies that is too afraid to get out in the weather.

Fish will always bite. Every day. All year

Deeper drop off early that are close to shallower reef-flats. Trouts hang out in the warmer deep water until the sun comes out and starts to warm up the shallows and then they start to move up. I love winter fishing, half the crowds and most winter fishermen know what they are doing.

Alphaman, when I went with LPfishnTim last weekend, I got my butt kicked but people around us caught limits. This is why I highlighted Raymond's comment. You just gotta know where to find em and, right now, I don't. You also gotta learn it somehow so, I'm gonna keep trying em! As soon as my dad is back on his feet, we'll be back to the water for more studies!;)

Thanks southern. I'll be doing the same exploring, And learning the different areas. Studying the bottom layout drop offs Etc.

There are not a lot of drop offs. So you don't have to worry about that.
Big Lake is a big shallow lake. Drop off's are in the ship channel and river channels and old river bends.
