These guys were pumped up and ready to catch some fish. No shortness of jokes today, as these guys laughed and cut up all day long. After our cold boat ride we had to defrost a little!! The trout were still defrosting too in the 48 degree water. Slow slow bite at our first stop with the cold water, many boats in the area all pecking at the fish. I decided to make a move and it payed off BIG-TIME. We found the reds and trout STACKED up and HUNGRY. We started catching reds every-cast, when the bite shut down I moved the boat about 100 yards and we started slinging in beautiful trout every-cast. Good as it gets as we had many trout over 3 pounds. We left the fish biting when we were done. Total blast as usual fishing with Eric and great meeting Tom, thanks guys for a incredible day. Looking forward to our next trip coming up. Capt. Marty LaCoste 985 856 4477 captmartyl@yahoo.com www.absolutefishingcharters.com |
