Finally got my gun back from the popos

Well detectives brought my wife back my gun from the incident that happened in Febuary. Pretty neat info was revealed. The gun case was recovered from under a bed in his house. The gun was loaded, with a round in the chamber. The detective said that he tried to fire the weapon but the gun was on safety. Anyway figured some of you may have wanted to know.:smokin:

Some interesting facts mentioned there. Glad you got your equipment back and hopefully, now, you can fully put this incodent behind you. I'm sure it has stressful, especially for the misses.

yeah, as soon as i got home she made me do something with the gun, said it freaks her out, I first have to clean it because there is still blood on the weapon:eek:, box is marked up with biohazard stickers.

Don't be surprised if she requests the gun be out of the house or sold. I know mine would!

refresher on what happened if you don't mind.... I looked through your past posts and didn't find the story. Just the cliff notes will do.

guy broke in my house stole my Remington 742 30-06, then when my wife and i got home with the cops in investigate the theft he decided to walk in the back door and obviously try to shoot someone only to be gunned down by the cops. All of this happening after he tried kicking my door in the previous thursday night , and i pulled a gun on him in my yard on super bowl sunday while he was wanting to fight me with my wife and 5 month old son in the house.

most definitely, the cop also suggested the same thing, will bleach mess with the blueing on the rifle though?

After the bleach, rinse good with water to make sure all the bleach is gone.
Then use a good solvent and then oil.
