What do y'all think?

I'm quite a YouTube fan, and lately I've been on a kick about promoting our state to an audience who either doesn't think very highly of Louisiana, or maybe even nothing at all. I shamelessly ripped this video off from TV. Yeah, it's not the most technical way to do it, just video of the commercial, but I don't care. It was quick and easy, and came out OK. Just felt this would be a good place to show it. I think it's a great commercial. Let me know what y'all think. Thanks.

Here's Slide show I did of New Iberia and the surrounding area. It's from one of those tourism / community guides. The first couple of pictures are mine, of the owl and the alligator. I figure maybe someone on YouTube may see this and decide to visit the area some day.

Only thing missing was a few pics of "W".....:shaking:

Yeah, I didn't think about Mardi Gras. That would be a good thing to include. And not just New Orleans, or New Orleans style Mardi Gras. Everybody knows about that. Maybe the opposite, old fasioned "courir" Mardi Gras where they chase the chickens and beg for gumbo ingredients. I figure that's not as well known. That would be a good subject to put out there. Also, all our many festivals. We party at the drop of a hat pretty much.

I was told when I moved down here that, "We don't need a reason, just a place." I knew I was never going home then!:*****::*****:

Great videos!
