Big woods bass fishing
 

Looking for some feedback. Has anybody ever been a member or fished with a member at Big Woods Fish and Game Preserve in Edgerly near Vinton?

Yep...the owner of my company was a member years ago...I fished it years ago...just about the time the opened up the second pond with all the stumps...it had lotsa bass!! Caught a 5-6 lber in there but there where bigger ones.

I belive they had some trouble with the pond and my owner got out of it. But i think they have corrected the issue. i believe one of my buddies dads is in it and they caught some decent sized bass on live crawfish.

Tip: they used to have huge huge bream in there...you can keep those

Fished it years ago with live crawfish also, caught lots of bass. Fished for bream and caught some really nice ones.

A guy i work withs dad is a member, and i've seen pictures of the bream caught out of there. Some were as big as 2 hands.
