Yellowfin 21 / 250 SHO - video
 sweet!!
I like that one too.
nice boat! does it need trim tabs at any point?
No tabs on this boat. I do have an Atlas Hot Shot plate on the bottom of the JP. That's it. Jumps up with the JP on 6 if needed (think duck ponds) :-), hard right or left turns with no blowout.
How about a video of it performing in some chop...
MeauxF, I did run it on Sabine with 2 guys from Port Arthur a couple of weeks ago when it was blowing 15 to 20 and we ran high 60s with no problem. Sorry, no video though.

Yellowfins have wood in them too.....nothing wrong with wood as long as it is glassed in properly. My whaler is a 1970 and still solid as a rock.
Seen a 24' yellow fin sportin a 300 Verado on a 11" HJ.Two bad it was sittin on the trailer. Owner didn't come in today; I was told he hadn't made it in from Cosat Rica as they had expected . Imagine That.Quiet impressive in any aspect.
Ahhh that explains it... I'm equal opertunity though I love the haynie 23ls too!
OPne their websight you can outfitt the hybrid with a 350 Verado, I wonder what that would do?. I have been drooling over the 24' boats for the past 3 years.

This is boat #4 from YF. The other 3 21 Hybrids are in Florida. Maybe you saw its big brother- the 24? |
