Cabin Fever

Well I've cleaned my fishing reels and my shotguns, surfed the web and hung out on facebook. Can you imagine what it must be like in North Dakota? Guess there is always ice fishing. Naaah!

Ray 02-03-2011 07:44 PM

Been out all day.
I think I am gonna stay in till after lunch tomorrow.
Don't care for the ice. Cold don't bother me.

Come on ray, want to hep me load some wood in the morning?

Gerald 02-03-2011 11:50 PM

I got a reel that needs to be taken apart and given a good cleaning.........if you need something to do.

It's like I tell my wife, I'll try to fix most anything, but I can't guarantee that it will be any better and it could be worse. That reel probably didn't need those extra parts anyway. HaHa! With that being said, what kind of reel is it Mr. Gerald?

It is a Curado.

With that kind of statement.....I'll get to taking it a part soon and will probably clean the other one also.

Curado's aren't bad to clean. I have 3 of them. I have had some problems cleaning spinning reels though. I seem to wear out the worm gear and the pawl on Curados pretty fast. Lately, I have been using H2O Extreme and Pinacle reels, when something wears out on them you can throw it away and buy another for $25. I don't actually throw them away, I downgrade them to croaker and hardhead duty for the grandson.
