Skunked 2/12/2011
Brother in law and me went out fishing this morning. Starting air temps were around 38 degrees, water temps were 47 deg.
We fished 5 hours, one hook up in Moss Lake. Something pretty big, but it got off before it got to the boat. We fished Prien till they started driving pilings under the 210 bridge. Then we hit PPG Loop, zip. Went down to Moss Lake, then hit the East side of Big Lake from Pelican Point to the Northeast Corner. Water was super clear. We could see the bottom in 3 ft. of water. We fished with suspending lures, glow Jerk Jrs., and Gulp. Zip. We then hit the West side of the lake from just South of Texaco Cut to Turners. Zip. Ran back to launch and went home. Water temps hit 50 deg. by the time we finished fishing. We fished about 5 hours. |
Damn the luck Ray. Thanks for the report buddy.

I didn't want to fish due to the cold water and cold air temps.
Brother in law don't get much time off work, so I hit the water with him today anyway. We saw zero bait. It was too cold to run around all over the lake. |
I know how you feel, I fished a bass tournament today and only caught 2 keepers.
