Old Oustalet and Hurt em Hatten stuck it out half a day for the last 45min trout bite...
Hit the water about 11am and it was real slow until the sun was falling......
Ended the day with a nice mess of trout and few reds we hand selected to keep...
Caught a tagged Redfish.... Took info down and released it.

Ha.... I have been in this area for 3 days and not one signal boat in sight... Even when we got there at 11 yesterday...no one...then two waders come in behind my drift... They saw us catch a trout and started walking behind our drift line...then they had there boat and two of them spread over 300 yards...east to west.... If your going to wade... Do it reasonable don't cover 500 yards

1st us boat fisherman have been doing this way longer...and when I'm in my boat... I have the right of way.... I will give way and respect anyone wading...but if I'm fishing an area first and waders jump out and cover that reef or area up... I'm going to keep my drift line....the waders yesterday were from Texas...so I just gave the a Louisiana welcome |
