Venice or maybe Empire??
 

Thinking about heading over to New Orleans from Texas in Mid March. Wife wants do do a little shopping with the daughter so I thought my son and I would do a little fishing. I used to live in Metarie as a youngster and my dad would take us to Empire and every once in a while to Venice.

QUESTION - Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on the Venice / Empire area for Reds and Trout? We would be looking for an inshore guided trip.

Wait until after March 8 to go.

reds should be easy, not sure what the river level is doing this year it's been so dry may get lucky on trout.

Met him thru a friend that used to play ball with & fishes with plus I worked in Venice for 2 years, he helped me out alot while I was there.
