Gold X3 and after using the Marsh Works Bayou Thumpers this weekend I won't be buying any other brands. Those things are tough!

Been using marshworks spinnerbaits since they were first introduced. theres nothing out there that can hold a candle to them. they catch fish and they are bulletproof

and yes gold is best in muddywater

BLACK for bass in muddy water.

IMO, vibration and sound is more critical in muddy water than color.

Imo use dark color baits in stained water

eman 03-22-2011 03:06 PM

copper blades work great w/ a dark color skirt in muddy water.
(i guess you can still get copper blades) ?

I use a big colorado blade with a with a chartreuse, blue and orange skirt. clear to murky water I use shad color with some pink, or sexy shad or chartreuse with chartreuse colored willow leaf blades., if I'm fishing slow and deep the colorado blades help with feeling the baits vibration to tell when you have a bite.
