Spring Sow trout on Lake Calcasieu NOW

:*****:BREAKING NEWS: This past Saturday was one of the best fishing days of the year for us on Lake Calcasieu. The wind gave us a break and the trout turned it on!! Good numbers of redfish and flounder are also being caught beating the banks and fishing bayous. Yesterday the wind picked back and the fishing was not quite as good but good numbers of some nice fish came to the dock. Best baits have been soft plastics such as Hackberry Hustlers (east beast color) and Berkley gulp rigged on a ¼ ounce lead head.
