Port Arthur to Galveston by Boat

How long a ride is it from Port Arthur to Galveston via the intercoastal?

Anybody done it?

depending on your speed it looks like its about same distance mile wise as it use to be if you took old hwy 87 along the beach

What kind of boat? How fast?
Just checked it out on my GPS software. It is 61 miles from the ICW bridge in P.A. to the ferry landing on Bolivar Peninsula.
Shouldn't be bad if you have a full tank.
