Tough Day on the river, but Managed 1st place.

One of my worst stringers, and worst days on the river that I've had in awhile, but still manged 1st. Headed to my first spot, where we raped the bass on topwater early Last saturday, 0 today. Then hit all our holes from last saturday (last sat, I had a good stringer). Finally, started getting some bites pitching and flipping. Lost one around 1 1/2 at the side of the boat, and caught 2 pickles that kept from this spot. Hit another little hole, had some missed hook ups, pitched in the shade, and WHAMP. Decent fish fight, then fish takes off for the grass, so I knew she was a good one, told Chance to get the net, and WOHOO, too bad she was as skinny as my pinky and had a head of a 4-5 pound fish, and already spawned out, turned out to be a 3 pound fish.

Ended the day with 3 keeper fish, and 4 pounds total :headknocker:
