Offshore NDT/Inspection

Anyone know of any companies that do this besides Oceaneering..it's the field I'm in and I'm looking to make a change. I have been with a company in Baton Rouge for a few months now and I feel like they haven't held up to any of the promises they made me and honestly aren't as good of people I thought they were....but I've been wanting to go back offshore so if any of you know of any companies I'd appreciate it.

NVI Houma, LA
Accurate NDT Broussard, LA

Nvi claims to not do the offshore thing anymore

specktator 04-26-2011 05:09 PM

Few of my buddies have worked for these 2 companies. Buddy with NVI is in Rifle, CO.

Hmm they might still have a few contracts....all i know is there aren't as many offshore ndt companies as I thought

specktator 04-26-2011 05:40 PM

Accurate definitely has a bunch of offshore work.

Hopedale Hustler 04-26-2011 05:49 PM

specktator 04-26-2011 06:40 PM

No problem. I have never worked in the field before but many of my friends have.

Worked with a bunch of guys from Accurate NDT when I worked for Baker Hughes Inteq, they are a very good company to work for.

Ray I never got those two but thank you alot I will check into those I've heard of can but not the other... Can does a lot of rope access....

Ray 04-26-2011 10:30 PM

We used Can till BIS Salamis won the next contract with our company.
Then BIS Salamis got ran off due to their safety man doing something wrong.
We now use Oceaneering.
Salamis does rope access also.

Ditto I used to work there

So accurate is no good huh...

Asterisk-Rich 04-27-2011 01:15 PM

Charles Brignac is one of the worst people on the face of this earth that you could ever work for. He screwed me out of over a thousand dollars! Sent me to Utah with a crack head...employees constantly getting burnt up...hiding their film badges in the vaults in the back of the truck while they work. IF YOU LIKE TO DO DRUGS AND ONE DAY WANT LUKEMIA THAN ACCURATE IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!!!
