Dularge Trout Action Hard To Beat!

Great Trout Bite!
The great trout action started on Thursday morning(5/5/11) as the wind & seas finally gave us a break. Capt Gerald Ellender started it off with a bang catching 100 beautiful trout on Coon Island. Gerald fished with Gary Hughes & his crew from 3 different states. I got a call from my friend Craig Major who wanted to treat his friend John Duke to a fishing trip. We left the camp at 4:00 PM and caught over 100 trout by 6:30. We kept 75 and never had to go offshore. Water quality was good at the island and throughout the Mechant/Sister Lake area. A good time was had by all. Good luck fishing.
