Night Fishing Prien Advice

Heading to Big Lake tomorrow afternoon for a long weekend. Given the "amazing" wind forecasts I was thinking that with the full moon, and tide falling at night that it might be good to try Prien tomorrow night. Does anyone have any advice for fishing the lights in the area or somewhere else? I've never fished at night there before.

All along the intercoastal waterway as you head up to Prien will have lights on. I would hit them as I made my way up. If you know where Indian bay is then you will find lights. I have had good reports from yak fisherman from that area. You can find This area by heading back southwest towards the old river area out of the Prien launch. Follow this around and you will see docks with lights on the south banks. Shetler will have his green light on aroun 930 or 10. As long as you don't crowd him he will leave it on for you.

I have been wanting to give it a shot but like you i have no clue were to start in Prien . . . .

umm the best i can do is tell you that if there are lights on the docks by country club I have done great there in past years. typical baits in glow. i also use a silver spoon (its lethal in the lights).

just bounce around to all the lights you see, private or industrial

on the private docks if you see people fishing, just go to the next light

If you go to the PPG area, stay out of the restricted zone.
