Gun Safe

I am looking at buying a gun safe and I have no idea where to start. I owned a small 1.4 cubic foot safe with an electronic keypad for entry. One day it just stopped working and froze and I had to get a locksmith to come open the safe, in turn ruining it. I am looking for a 20-30 gun fire proof safe in the $500-$700 range. Anyone have an recommendations. I feel like other than Academy, Bass Pro and Cabelas, there are not many to choose from. I would prefer a turn dial rather than electonic key pad, but would be open to hear other's opinions and experiences with the key pads.

I don't care for any of the bass pro ones, Hebert's in P'ville usually have a sale on them every now and then.

I don't understand why get a $500-700 safe, when thats the price of one gun or pistol, if its gonna hold 20-30 guns I'd rather pay more for a good big safe you can expand your collection and have the best of protection for your guns from fire or theft. if only they protected your guns from flooding.

There is one brand that "claims" to be water proof, but I don't buy that at all......you've got to anchor it to the floor......how ya gonna do that with no holes??? Besides, its one of those cheap companies......safe can be opened with a flatbar......

Only thing with them is price and the fire rating. I think the best they have is 45 minutes
