Anyone Yaking tomorrow???

Just found out i have the day off tomorrow due to the hospital trying to save money... was thinking about taking the yak out to prien in the morning. Anyone going??? My father borrowed my boat for a Toledo Bend weekend... soo my rig is outta the pic for a weekend. Probly launch under 210 and fish PPG cut.

Since when do you have a yak?

FF_T_Warren 05-26-2011 09:48 AM

Whats the weather/tide going to be like? I've never fished that area but I been dying to get the yak wet. I may be willing to ride over there if you know some areas to try.

Took the Yak out to Haymark and landed a 21inch red. catch and release. do not have pics due to not bringingmy cell phone on a yak. took me about 10 min to get em in boat. Chrome/blue back rattletrap.

Nice! I bet that is a fun fight in Yak. Been wanting one forever. What kind do you have?

SaltERedneck 05-27-2011 10:15 PM

I use my brothers... Prowler 13... its nice.

drinkmoremilk 05-28-2011 01:35 AM

Nice job on the red. Where do you launch to yak haymark? I've seen a guy in a yak there once before too and I don't know where to launch to get there without having to paddle a long ways. Isn't there a golf course or something in the way to launch from the east side?

cajunboy0208 05-28-2011 09:05 AM

You can go down Tankfarm road just one road past haymark rd,
