Went out for three hours by myself this afternoon. Didnt feel like fighting the wind so I anchored up in one of my favorite falling tide spots in caminada bay. Tried various shrimp imitations but they only wanted the real thing under the cajun thunder but they didnt want the popping only got bit when I let it drift. Ended up with 5 trout

yep! nice catch, I'm hungry for some trout! I might take a trip next weekend to elmer's island. |
