Question

I know it's been asked 999999 times before but can you post pics from an IPhone???

catch.and.fillet 06-02-2011 08:48 AM

yes with the Tapatalk app.

alphaman 06-02-2011 12:47 PM

What about HTC inspire is it the same app

duckman444 06-02-2011 12:49 PM

Is there another way to post them without having to buy a dang app. It ain't worth all that hassle. Or money

weedeater 06-03-2011 02:51 AM

i do from my evo without any special app, i click the paper clip and it pops up wether you want to post from computer or internet

booyagasha 06-03-2011 04:08 AM

photobucket app...it uploads it to photobucket for you, then you just go and copy the public link it provides and copy and paste...

also works awesome with dropbox, not just pictures, any files.....highly reccommended...heres a link to a file on my dropbox
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/23849596/IMG...527_113458.jpg

and heres when you press INSERT IMAGE Link http://dl.dropbox.com/u/23849596/IMG...527_113458.jpg

Yea I was wondering about that myself. Tried to post a pic the other day and only got an option for a URL. Didnt have an option to uploading from the PC.

I'm having problems posting pictures from my phone using tapatalk from the android market. Anyone else having the same problem?

Lake Chuck Duck 06-03-2011 07:09 AM

It sucks when people use photobucket because the restrictions on my work computer block the images and just show a red X.

Sea-Trac Offshore 06-03-2011 07:28 AM

I use the tapatalk as it has some great features for the phone. With me on the road and boat it works great. Hopefully I will be uploading some pictures of fat reds directly from the marsh tomorrow. I use an HTC Evo

guys here is thing...i may not have this right but pretty sure...

this website runs on a server which is hosted in basically a hard drive on a computer...I believe Jeff stills hosts the website...so every bit of data such as the formating, words, pictures, etc takes up space on the hard drive. The more data that is stored the slower the website will be. that is a reason there is a limit on picture sizes you can upload....

when you link a picture it actually pulls the image off another website so in turn you don't use up hard drive space.
http://www.saltycajun.com/forum/imag...nsertimage.gif

you can upload pictures in photobucket.com (free account) then copy the url address ( easy to do its below the pictures in your albums) and press the button above and copy the link in the space provided and submit. viola!

This is a way I usually post pics of mine plus I have them in photobucket and can access them from any computer!

The less hard drive space per say that is taken up the faster the website will run...

booyagasha 06-03-2011 10:33 AM

On your phones..go to browser and settings. Try switching your user agent. To PC/ie/etc. This will open the page like on a normal PC browser not mobile view

also if you visit SALTYCAJUN on your pc and phone alot and plan on posting pics/vids/ect....GET dropboxhttps://www.dropbox.com/

Download dropbox on your phone, and pc, throw away your usb cable, and THANK ME LATER

I used photobucket but it looks like the pictures did not upload? Can you check them out under hunting discussions, I started a new thread "Son's First Deer" and let me know if you can see the images?...Cheers and safe hunting from Canadian Black Bears

MarshRat89 11-29-2013 11:02 AM

Pics on both the threads worked for me

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Canadian Black Bears 11-29-2013 11:07 AM

thanks for speedy reply

Must be something wrong on my end, will check them later to see if they show up on my PC...Cheers and safe hunting

MarshRat89 11-29-2013 11:28 AM

It only works when you click on the link though. If your using the html Link from photobucket try using the direct. Easiest thing is to download the tapatalk app though.
