Is there any yamaha dealer in the area that will take my old motor as a trade in?

20" or 25" shaft?

Jorgensen in Beaumont will take a motor on trade, if it is in good condition.

Where do i measure from? Its a 2001 130 hp yamaha not expecting much. My gf asked me why dont you go buy a 4 stroke? So that is what im gonna do

If it is a 130 more than likely it is a 25" shaft. Might be a lil bit tougher to get rid of most boats in that hp range use 20" transoms. I know someone with a older kenner that may be interested.
