Heres a pic of my buddy's new 2011 Majek Illusion. This boat floats in less than 2 " of water. Unreal!

swamp snorkler 06-08-2011 08:38 PM

Whats unreal is he has a 225 on it, that thing must fly!

Ray 06-08-2011 08:39 PM

I like them boats. Expecially the under gunnel rod storage.

PaulMyers 06-08-2011 08:39 PM

Now that's skinny water for sure. :amen: Really nice looking boat!:)

If I tried to stand like that, the boat would slide out from under me and I would drowned in that 2" of water after hitting my head on something else hard.

BIGJ 06-08-2011 08:44 PM

I like it. Alot!!!!!!!!

evidrine 06-08-2011 08:47 PM

lol, Paul. The reason it didnt slide out is beacause its actually sitting on a mudflat. This was taken in Jacksonville, FL. Yesterday. Prefishing for the HT series they ran up on a mudflat. Stuck like chuck!

In actuallity the boat drafts 8". Still a badass boat!

calcutta37 06-08-2011 08:48 PM

I was giving somebody more credit than they deserved. Looked like a very good PhotoShop job.

Agreed and it looks like the water is down about 2ft. How long did he have to wait for the tide to come back in?

Bring it..... Ill go where he will go and pull him out when he gets stuck

Ask salty about his experience :p

boatdriver 06-08-2011 09:29 PM

Haynies will float in just about nothing; oh, and they fly and are super dry. Just saying...

"W" 06-08-2011 09:35 PM

Just saying...I ran over a Majak and never notice it in the rooster tail...

Do they have wood in them?

Pole_benda 06-08-2011 09:41 PM

Is this a who floats the shallower competition? I want in!

Outcast- I knew a few boats were going to get stuck this week. Better today than tomorrow, Friday or Saturday. 3ft tides are no joke! Lucky its not the winter where its 6-8 ft tides.

whunter29 06-08-2011 09:44 PM

So it will run shallow but I bet it will beat the tar out of you getting to the shallows.

Did he break the motor skeg off when he hit the mud flat? Do not see one on the motor.
