best site for wind?

what is the best site for seas and wind predictions?

evidrine 06-13-2011 04:16 PM

Not sure about the best for predictions, but for the current weather conditons I use I-map weather. Its got a map of all the weather buoys along the coast and it gives you what they are reporting back as well as the ships in the area. Its got some other pretty cool features as well that you can turn on and off. It will give you current conditions for any location by clicking on it and Its all real time. I think they also have a I-phone app as well.

Wind Alert

By far, the best website I have found is windalert.com. Sign up for a free membership and it gives you all of the information that you need. It is indeed the bearer of bad news for my trip scheduled for Saturday....:pissed:

Also if you have an iPhone they have a buoy data app that tells current conditons at buoys.
