Yep.........I always buy the one at Wal Mart in the food section......last 3 or 4 months for $15 and get a new one |
Sharp blades are the key to longevity in any electrical k-nife.

I used some white Hamilton Beach one and that thing was a beast, and the guys knife i used said the blades were dull, so if it did that good with dull blades thats all me. Im looking for one of those now

If you get one of the small diamond hook sharpeners that looks like an ink pen ,you can use it to sharpen serrated blades from your electric knife.

I usually use a Mister Twister "Piranha" but I stopped at Wal Mart and bought a Rapala electric knife few months ago b/c my knife was at my dad's. Works well!
|

We all use Hamilton Beach from wal-marts. Use the blades they come with for trout and Mister Twister 7" blades for reds. I can promise you, you will not find a better combination. Trust me, I know. I go through 15 a year.

pretty much all the electric filet knifes suck! the mr twister has a switch that burns up and if you can replace that switch everytime you could have a knife that last a while. I use the Mr. Twister on trout but everything else I use a gerber filet knife which I like. I'm probably gonna get a dexter pretty soon.
