Caught somewhere in cali....crazy to think the 10 pounder was a "average" fish. 18 pound kicker,WOW

Them cali bass grow fast and big. Most of the lakes are stocked yearly with rainbow trout. They use huge swimbaits that look just like the trout.

The mouth on the 18lb'er looks like that of a 7lb'er. That thing was probably handfed.

Lower Castaic lake(Castaic Lagoon) right there.....that lake is stock with rainbow trout in the winter months. A lot of the bass anglers catch big bass from the upper lake and release them in he lower lake so the can grow bigger....because the upper lake has a large population of stripers and the lower doesn't.
