How much would it take to fix the motor?

I'm looking for a used fishing boat for me and my boy to fish big lake and toledo. right now I bug the heck out of a good friend of mine to take us out. Only problem is momma said we have to stick around 8 - 9K. try to get quality and quanity with that!

Well....tell her your gonna go over just a little......I almost got this boat for my dad, but he was set on a McKee. This is a better boat!! But he wouldn't listen.....you can prolly find a decent boat for that money, BUT will it have all these accessories?

Also, I got my boat for alot more than your looking at here and the motor blew up on my first trip in it......

The way I look at it now that I've had it rebuilt is I payed a little extra to know its done right and wont leave me and my kids stranded out in the middle of nowhere......having that to me is well worth the money!!!

Yep

that is always worth paying a little more for, i'm about to chunk a motor and buy a new one for that reason!

I also saw your ad on LA Sportsman... you talked about different motors for the boat.. were you saying that those motors would work or you had different motors for the boat?

Yes, it is

It is a rolled edge hull, not a vision. Visions have a full cap. This is a 21 VX model.
