Boat cleaning
I am doing some very much needed boat cleaning and since I can only do it after work for about 2 hours before dark today was day 1. Started at the front deck. I pulled the anchor out and washed it, the rope, the storage compartment, and the other storage compartment under the deck. Didn't realize the drain for the front fishing seat pole was stopped up so I took it apart and blew it out. There is a rubber piece that runs all the way around the boat at the top on the outside that is supposed to be white that I have never been able to get white again and it is driving me crazy! Do you guys know if this piece can be cleaned? I have a black and white Nautic Star and was thinking about replacing it with a black one but not sure how it would look or if it can even be replaced. I also plan on replacing the fold down cup holders, rod holders, and speakers to black cause they are all supposed to be white but they have turned yellow. One more thing. What kind of wax do you guys use?

I have a black and white nauticstar also. The trick is to get Mcjaredsandwich to clean it for you. Hahaha. Jk. I can't keep that strip clean either. I use meguiars flagship wax. Seems to work very good.

Pressure washer up close and personal does wonders for that piece

clean the yellowed parts of boat with oxalic acid (i bought 10 lbs on ebay only used a few spoon fulls) when you wipe it on just wait seconds and it will just turn white its amazing next rinse with water hose then wax with woody wax
this is the easiest way to clean your boat good luck |

ongcasts boat, the black looked like it had a bunch of spoys on it due to dried water beads. The wax helped a lot with the dullness....brought it to a nice shine. Are you near the lake charles area? |

Well it won't eaven let me spell the wax. I'll try like this. F U K K E N. It's pronounced fooken

Give it a shot and let us know! Im sure if it works for you then a lot of others would probably give it a shot.

Try the powder tide with bleach laundry soap. Just wet the hull, spread the soap by hand, and the scrub and rinse. It works wonders

Oxy clean. Brothers bullet was turning yellow on the bottom, threw some Oxy Clean on it, and now you need your sunglasses to look at the boat.

Meguiars NXT wax is some pretty good wax also
