I got this Bladesaver from Blackfin last month and love it. I was on rocks all day and didn't scratch my prop. This thing wraps under the prop.

Seems that outboard manufactures would make this or something similar standard on the outboards.

there is a stainless steel version called a river runner that bolts to the skeg.

Isn't that the one with a flat plate on the bottom?

its really not flat at the bottom its has a slight angle in the middle.
