Calcasieu Point 7/12
Went and tried my luck at Calcasieu point just fishing off the bank. Spent just over an hour fishing. Had a young guy walk his dog over to where I was fishing and then threw a stick in the water and turned the dog loose to retrieve it a whole twenty feet from me which I of course thought was awesome!!!
All in all managed 4 before the K9 team attacked. http://tapatalk.com/mu/4ac1d753-a366-3855.jpg |
Not bad for fishing the bank at cal point. Nice job.

Good job, my wife and I drove by Cal Point yesterday.
We saw one fellow with a 25# drum, he took a pic and released him. Them tugs make C P bank fishing a challenge sometimes. |
Yeah the tugs can get aggravating but that's the price ya gotta pay to walk the bank.
|
I cant say Ive ever seen a flounder caught on the bank at the point. Why didnt you go with flatfishfreak? They was out there.
|
They were already out fishing when I got off from work and just like when me and you went I had a time limit and didn't know how long they were going to be out. I fished where the concrete bank protection ends away from the launch waded down the shore line.

Better black out the background. Someone is liable to potlick your spot. Hahaha. Nice fish man. Especially for cal point.
|
Lol yeah but it's kinda hard to show that I was at CP with it blacked out.
|

Speaking of the Walmart poles they had a guy get spooled twice. The first time I just chuckled the second time I laughed. All I heard was the bait alert and then sh*t he went to the van came back I heard the bait alert and he was yelling " not again oh my god not again."
