Best Work Boots

Wondering what kind of work boots y'all recommend. I have wolverine gortex right now. I need a boot that's comfortable and dry. Preferable slip on. I was looking the Areat. However you spell it.

got some cheap wolverine about 120, don't remember what they are called but they are pretty nice. Lightweight and so far dry.. I never tried gortex boots though, so you probably won't consider these lol

I bought a pair of slip on Justin Boots that are steel toe from Cottons on Ryan St. I wear them all the time even when I am not working very confortable. I bought the square toe style, plenty of room and very light. They were $110.

I've worn timberland slip-ons with the composite toe and they are nice. Right now I'm wearing redwing pecos slip-ons and I like them. My next pair will be the ariats that look like cowboy boots with an orange top. They seem to hold up best for the guys at work.

my take on work boots...
..they are your money makers..you have them on more then you have your tennis shoes on. spend the extra money, it's worth it.

...they longer lasting the boot, the harder the leather. Meaning longer time to break inn. Red Wings will last a long time, but will bust your chops for the first 3-4 months.

any boot i get , i take the original soles out and always put in some kind of gel/cushion soles. It's worth the extra 20 bucks. trust me.

best boot i ever had were some yellow Rhino's i think. cheap, maybe 50 bucks, can't find them anywhere now. Also had some insoles but strap them on and they felt like hightop steel toe sneakers...(when i've work with steel toes, im always climbing, crawling, hanging, swinging, or something of that nature--if not , than im standing. )

I love my Justin steel toes. Like 120 bucks at cottons

Me and my dad have steel toe combat boots like they wear overseas right now. Tight fit, but I don't notice it really. Good support for the ankles. Just too many laces.

I work in plants so i am always on my feet. As far as I ve seen. My best boots are redwing pecos slip ons. Hands down. They are expensive. I tried dock Martins buy they are too heavy. Feel like they weigh ten pounds a peice.
