Sabine lake

We went this morning.. Hit the north revetment picked up a few small trout the bite was pretty steady. Decided to make a run to blacks bayou were fished last weekend and did pretty on flounder, there wasn't nearly as much bait there as last weekend when there were very large ponds of shad with some shrimp all over the northern area. We didn't have any luck at blacks just a few short strikes and lady's one flounder one trout then rain...wind...
I heard after we got back the the shad are on the east side but it wouldn't of made any difference as the SW wind made fishing east a blow out. We'll be back out tomorrow morning hopefully it will be a little less wind
