Dat der was funny. I've air born my boat before but not one that big. That landing had to hurt.

I saw a guy flying across the bay once & he came across the ferry wake, all I could see was the bottom of his boat when the wake launched him, his passanger almost flew out of the boat. They sat there for a few moments collecting their thoughts.

I bet they were collecting more than thoughts.

Watched a guy do that in St. Andrews bay in panama city, fl. Not my idea of a fun boat ride. Pretty sure it was a rental boat.

LPfishnTIM 07-20-2011 10:00 PM

i've rode in a boat the front came up higher than close to 90 degrees and then slammed down but never air born!

Asterisk-Rich 07-20-2011 10:00 PM

we did that all the way out to green canyon a few years back in a 36 foot invincible!

huntin fool 07-20-2011 10:01 PM

Yall clearly have never rode in a boat with Shawn Braquet.. balls to the wall in the bay boat.. his motto "Its worse if we slow down"

Dink 07-20-2011 11:24 PM

I do that on a regular basis......gotta get there, seas will be calmer later.......yak em was with me airborne a few times. You got a good boat and its no problem.

SaltERedneck 07-21-2011 08:17 AM

rollers in toledo will get you like that. my boat isnt that big but when you put a 90hp in 3ft rollers you get airborn no matter what speed.

jchief 07-21-2011 08:31 AM

I have rode with Shawn, but I am bigger than he is.

Done it many times when I was tournament fishing on the Bend.

1fastmerc 07-21-2011 09:10 AM

I've been in boats and seen boats do this. Just seeing a boat this style size seems like it would have a rough landing.
