where to fish
 

going to be staying in geismar and working in donaldsonville for a while and hopefully going to have a little time when i get off.....where is the nearest place to go fish i was looking at the map all i see is the river. im probly just gonna bring my yak right now unless there is somewhere close to use my boat?

There's several places close to launch a boat. You may wanna bring it instead of the yak. Give me a call later and I'll share a couple spots with ya. We can go catch some crabs close by too. I got the nets. I live right here in the area as well as some other good sc'ers!

blind river! go down a few miles from donaldsonvile you got belle river, lake verret, bayou sorrel, bayou pigeon, the whole stinking spillway!
