Here now. Leaving on 29th. Just got up to room with my boys from catching stingrays and sand shark on beach. place is awesome. Think we gonna check out FloraBama later. Walkin distance from condo- maybe 2 blocks

Were here now. It's raining again! :(

I've been here since Sunday. Haven't made it to the beach yet. My 2year old likes the pool over here at the light house way to much. He also hates the sand just like his dad!! And the scenery is nice too.

Me and family going that week, we check in condo on the 3rd and leave the 7th.:bounce:

Baseball and Beach
 

Did the baseball thing for a week and the beach thing for another week. Boys came home with a Runner-Up in the World Series. Beaches were very nice and got a little fishing in too. Stayed at Phoenix IX right on the beach (one block from FloraBama). Had a corner room with wrap around balcony that gave us a view of the Bay across the street also.
Shaw, here are some things we did along with some tips:
Take the Foley Express Tollway off of 59 goin into Gulf Shores (this will save you some time. Traffic on 59 is always packed. Lots of redlights)
Ate at all of these- LuLu's (on the Intracoastal), Tacky Jack's, The Hangout (live music nightly) , Lamberts (home of the throwed rolls. Good home cookin. Get there by 11:00 for lunch or expect to wait).
Rode the Karts with the kids at The Track.
Rented waverunners in the Bay
Dolphin Tour (make reservations)
