Hit henderson around 8am this morning with crappie on mind. We made our way to the spot in Pelba! Within just a few cast it was fish on. It was cast for cast for a lil while but slowed as the sun and temps got higher. Ended the day around 11am with 40 sacs ! All fish were caught on tight lined hair jigs in 12 ft of water !

I use to catch a few Sacks up in the north end of Pelba...... after it makes the zig-zag. If the bite was slow.... I would put out a few lines and troll slowly. Fish seemed to be out away from the bank.....I think the water was 8 to 10 feet deep.

Fishing around some of the areas that have stump can be good for catching some Sacks too.

I used mostly small tube jigs [dark green/chart or blue/white], some with a spinner and sometimes a small bone color rattle trap.
