That stinks.....I saw this happen at Hog Island Gully launch one time. This old man was driving an old chevy with the shift on the column. Not exactly sure what happened but we were able to get a chain on it and pull it out but it wasn't as easily as I just stated.

I felt sorry for the ole' man, all he wanted to do was go fishing...:(
