Evo Burnt up AGAIN
 

this is the 4th time the "battery" has drained down/burnt up.

Last time, I walked in, gave them the phone, they updated it and gave a new battery. Said don't let it go past 15%. No problem.
Went to plug it in at 66%, woke up, no power to the phone. :pissed:

I've had the same phone for the past 4, im thinking they need to give up a new phone :rolleyes:

Go for it. Evo battery life aint that good

You should be able to run it dead with no problems. I run mine to 5% all the time. I think you need another phone too.

battery life should last longer if you close out of the prgrams the correct way. I would ask for new phone. My SD card just went out... in my pocket and alll of a sudden lost all my pics... furious about it. sooo i know your frustration with phones.

I close all my apps, etc. I run a battery all day.

But i Mean com on pilgrim sprint! lol

My evo will just randomly power off!!! aggravates me. gotta handle it for one more year til my contract is up then i am getting a new one.

Mine either! But it sure drops calls like a mo-fo! :( I was actually thinking about switching to an EVO but this doesn't help.

yep I'd be on verizon but it doesn't work on big lake cameron or grand chenier.

It actually does. My boy, specksndasurf, has been having a Verizon IPhone since they came out. He has better service than me on BL. I talked to him a few times yesterday when he was at Holly Beach and ship channel wadefishing. We had a camp at Hebert's bout a month ago and we were sitting side-by-side. I had AT&T and he had Verizon. We were looking at weather, tides, etc and his was 2-3x faster than mine. And he is in my duck lease in PI and never has any problems around there either. I had to have an AT&T Microcell 3G booster installed in my house just to use my phone, and it still sucks. And his works fine in my house.

my evo now officially sucks..had to return my original one kuz the charger port, the replacement they gave me has the gingerbread update...meaning no ROOT for me...POS, i was just about to put the evo on BOOST MOBILE for 11/month!!!

Man, same thing happened to me, I don't have an EVO but my SD card just messed up and erased over 300 pictures. I had 6 pictures left after the fact...man I was pissed!!!!

If you want out of Sprint just call and gripe about service and after a few times tell them you talked to others have are having problems and your not getting coverage you need and you want out of contract. I have had Verizon over a month now and now problems yet, drove to Toledo Bend and never a dead spot and even kept checking going to Missouri and never a problem.

Getting a new one in about 15 minutes. Called them up.

Did you go through Singer and Merryville? Since I've been with Verizon when I go to my parents in Merryville I don't have service past Dequincy. That's supposed to change with the Centennial merger.
