Since there's no more commenting in the classifieds, thought I'd post this thread to continue this ongoing conversation.

By this configuration, looks like you have two separate 24-volt systems with 1 supplying extra power to the other. You cannot run a 24-volt motor on 48 volts of power.....not for very long, anyway.

Thanks for starting it up again salty!!! Thought I was gonna hafta go postal on the last thread,cuz it wouldnt let me post.lol. I did hear some rumors that min kota is testing out some 48 volt trolling motors now.

Thats just a 24v system with twice the AH output. Should run a 24v system longer than with only two batteries. What the question?
