Buddy at work caught this monster with a long A bomber...It measured 27" but did not have a scale handy to weigh...Guessing she should way around the 7lbs. range.(+/- a pound).....

My personal best

7.2 lbs on crawfish scale certified by La dept of ag. I know its not a fancy fish scale but should be close. Didn't want Goose to post picture cause affraid W might throw his shoulder out trying to fish a bomber. Caught 4 fish 18" and over here and its no secret Austin, a little flat just North of Moss Lake on the ship channel obviously.:grinpimp:

Salty 08-15-2009 05:57 PM

Which Bomber was you throwin'?

yellalilyslicker 08-15-2009 06:17 PM

Chrome with the black back. Don't get to fish near as much as I would like to so I was inspired by Salty and his bombers and said what the hell lets try one I've tried damn near everything else. Thanks Salty you da man.:smokin:

Fool...? The only thing Fool did was hook a good fish on it and lose it. :smokin:

It's just a bait that I stripped and re-painted one of the old colors that Bomber used to have. I didn't use them then but I read threads on 2cool with the Texans talkin' about it. The color is called Texas Chicken. Bruce said mine looked pretty good. Fool suggested that I have Bomber bring 'em back. I'm gonna paint one and send to 'em to see what they say but I have very little stroke with them when it comes to that sort of thing. We'll see.
