Heard from a Grand Isle local they have been slaying the trout and redfish on the beach

I was at Terry's Bait Shop in Leeville yesterday. He had croakers. Time to hit the beach and the well heads in the bays.

No trout biting in GI this morning

fishinpox 08-27-2011 02:13 PM

They were biting for us but everytime I'd catch a few the wind would push us right on top of em I really need to get a power pole on the new boat I miss having one . All the fish we caught were in the 1st 10 yards off the beach and off the points on the rock bardges

Get the new 10 footer....that would be legit on your boat.

BIGJ 08-27-2011 02:28 PM

Pox were they really that close to the beach? Caught a few but they were small. Sand trout and ladyfish tore me up.

booyagasha 08-27-2011 02:51 PM
