Bit twice at V-Bay

Fished the outside reefs this morning. Started at my fovorite spot and quickly but a nice trout in the ice chest. Couple of casts later a better trout. Then hooked into a good fish and while fumbling for the net I heard a big splash and almost had the rod jerked out of my hand. Looked up to see a large shark tail swimming away and half a trout on my line. I knew it was time to move.

haha i thought i had a shark follow my trout in sunday, so I cast back at it after i got my trout off.. After a few minutes of fighting it, I get a glance at it and wouldn't you know it was a frikin 17lb redfish! Pretty cool I thought

Best way to get rid of sharks in an area is when you catch a small one cut him open down his belly all the way to his tail. For some reason it will keep the other sharks away. If GW is on here never done this myself only been told about it.

Them sharks really know how to ruin a good thing

Every time I get on a decent bite out there the sharks seem to show up and kill it. Maybe I need to fish BL again and see if I can lure them that way. Those guys on BL already have their freezers full of Trout, Flounder and Reds and we eating Croakers.
