White Lake Trout?

Hello all,

We have fished White Lake a couple of times and have done great near the rocks on Reds, Catfish, Drum and Garfish. We were wondering about Trout? Has anyone had any significant catches of specks there? I've heard near the platforms? If so, what means? Jig, cork? Live bait? I find it hard to believe that the trout can move in and out of there very easily.

Just wondering. Thanks.

We fished a few times with no luck!!! If they would keep locks open it would be good trout fishing!!! IMO

While fishing crab cages in the lake, I have caught 1 speck in my cages. There were a few specks in the lake right after Rita, but they didn't hang around when the fresh water came back after.

Probably been on white lake 8 times over the past 2 years and all I every caught was reds and catfish.

Been there once and caught 11 hammer trout. Several pushing 5. We were fishing for cats when we found them.
