Made a huge decision today
 

After a few hours of debate....











I decided on wrapping the doves from yesterday up in bacon and cooking them tonight rather than making a big pot of dove and gravy. The decision was made when my grandfather said why smother something that good in gravy?:eek: The point was taken, and the gravy will wait for the tough squirrels in a few weeks

Nice. Almost anything is good wrapped in bacon. We fried up some back strap, trout, and shrimp over here last night. It's so good to be Cajun!!!!!!!!

My podnas dad cooked up some doves with crab stuffing and bacon wrapped....knock ya socks off good.

Dove breast, a little cream cheese, jalepeno slice wrapped in bacon;)

No doves here, but got 5lb of shrimp out the freezer and some red snapper half shells for tonight!!

Chicken & Sausage gumbo last night....a big ole pot of shrimp, crab & corn soup on the stove for tonight! Was hoping to have dove but our trip got jacked by the storm. Grrrrr
