Nice catch.

How was the launch at Pirates. Heard it was about to close

SaltERedneck 09-12-2011 08:31 AM

I was up at pirates too. Sat a guys bay boat trailer bottomed out on the launch. stuck like chuck. I had to crawl under this guys truck to find a tie off soo we could pull his truck and trailer out. alot of metal lost from the bottom of that trailer is all i can say. I wouldnt expect it to be open to much longer.

Doliver 09-12-2011 09:09 AM

the launch wasnt that bad i got a 20 ft bass boat i launched no problem.i had to back up till the back tires was bearly off the ramp.

SaltERedneck 09-12-2011 09:13 AM

The boat we pulled out sat evening was a 22 ft champion bay boat... real heavy and the truck didnt have the tires to get it done.

Doliver 09-12-2011 09:17 AM

i dont think much longer the wount have any big boats launching there

SaltERedneck 09-12-2011 09:22 AM

we smashed the bass too that weekend. Sat me and my buddy landed a 6lb 9 oz and a 5lb 12 oz.... along with about 10 Kentuckies just that afternoon. gonna try to get the pic of him holding up those two hawgs this afternoon. fishing was shotty in the am but on fire in the pm.

RonnieF 09-12-2011 01:04 PM

Nice catch. I had between 30-40 in 2.5 hrs saturday afternoon in my kayak all on a big H2O crankbait. Sunday morning 5 on the big crank and 20 more on redbug worms. All basically stacked up in one spot. My ribs and belly are bruised from setting the hook!! The biggest went 3.5 lbs.
