Market basket is mainly where we go

they may be cheaper on items but you end up buying crap you do not need... usually I just go to this little local grocery store by my house in Prairieville....Leblancs Payless.

From an old friend in the business. It's called IMPULSE SHOPPING> They know you don't need it but they put it where you will see it and on impulse you will buy it. And when you get home you wonder what the hell am I doing with this.

LeBlancs Payless in Gonzales for me or Ralph's @ Pelican Point. Both easy access and cheaper on many things...So long as it's not toddler related!

Yeah, they moved everything around so you can't find a dang thing you are looking for!!

They do that to help you...

Instead of "Save Money - Live Better" it should be "Spend More - Live Poorer"

I go to the one off Hwy 42....I live not far from their in "Quail Creek Subdivision". For steaks I go to the Ralphs off Highway 44 going towards Gonzales.

Doing the same in Gonzales right now. I won't even go there now!:pissed::pissed:

Wal-Mart kills the small business. They will take a loss on items to get you in the store. ie cost on a tv for all businesses is $150.00 the sell it for $145.00 they lose money on it but because your in the store you're buying other stuff and you'll go back because of the great deal you got on the tv. Small businesses that sell tv's can't compete and go under.

The best way to not spend money when you go to any store is to get a little basket instead of a buggy. You can't put as much in it so you don't spend as much. Now this is some good coonass logic.

Ya sounds good....but my wife would just grab 2 baskets.....
