aluminum vs. fiberglass
What is ya'll opinion regarding the noise difference in aluminum vs. fiberglass boats.
Do you think the noisy aluminum may scare off fish if the water is choppy vs a fiberglass boat? Does it make a difference in salt vs. fresh water? |
how big you talkin about?

Ok, back on subject. Aluminum has more "noise" no matter what you do, be it waves, moving aroud, etc.
Glass boats may have some slap from waves, but overall I know they are better especially in Big Lake that is shallow. I have owned both and the fish spook alot easier in an aluminum. |
If your going to fish in big lake a lot go with fiberglass.
|
how about Toledo bend? Or other freshwater lakes? would aluminum make more noise than fibergass and scare off the feeshes?

got a buddy that fished Xpress for yrs all over Toledo Bend, the river, saltwater, and even made trips to south Texas and has always caught fish
|
Not saying you won't catch fish with an aluminum boat, just saying they make more noise than a fiberglass boat.
