Bow Hunting
 

Did anyone bow hunt this weekend? I sat for two days and didn't see a thing! Great to get in the woods but wish I coulda seen something.

man it must be nice to be able to start deer hunting this early i am jealous

Doesn't open til 10/1 at my lease but I'll be heading to the camp this weekend to hang stands. Only 12 more days!!!!

I missed it this weekend. Wife had to work so I was home with the kids.

Don't feel bad we sat with out seeing any either. My 11 yr old son and I hunted 3 times and my daughter hunted with me yesterday afternoon. Hope to get them on one soon.

I went through two and a half propane cartridges in my therma cell. Don't feel to jealous the excitement wears off pretty quick lol

Hate that especally for the kids. Great that you bring them.

Missed this weekend, wife and kids wanted to go after some white perch. Will be in the stand this week after work for sure.

I'm from DeRidder and hunt south of town. I see youre from Rosepine. I got alot of family from there. Where abouts you huntin?

Fort Polk for both archery and rifle. Pulled some does and an 8 point in the last couple years. Been lookin for a lease for 6 years, but no luck.

I should be in the stand on Thursday with everything going the way it is suppose to.

I have a lease near McNary. I have been thinking about trying Fort Polk this year. Any advise?

I sat in a tree at CC Saturday morning and did not see an deer. I jumped a very small fawn while doing some scouting.

Everyone I have talked to said it was very slow. Very few people saw deer and I haven't heard of a kill yet.
