Shocks for my truck

Im looking at Bilsteins the 5100s and the B6s. What Im thinking about doing is putting the 5100s in the back and and the B6s in the front so it will ride better. Or should I just put the 5100s all the way around. Do those ride rough? I never go off road really except in the fields on the farm every once in a while because its a 2wd truck.

5100's or pretty stiff shocks. Have some on my diesel and its not too smooth. They or good quality and highly rated though.

I've got 5100s all the way around, stiffer then stock obviously but not bad.

Go to NorCal website and call them. Tell them your information. They will set you up with a set of Bilstein's for your truck.

You have the regular 5100's or the 1.5" or 2.5" 5100 Zinc?

I think its the regular 5100's.

Before I bought my 5100 zinc's for my 4X4 3/4 ton, I researched a bunch. The stock length 5100's had reviews of being rough due to (for my style truck) the shocks either bottoming out or going to full extension. The 1.5" or 2.5" give a little extra travel. Never the less, I called the above company and told them the how's, when's, and why's of my truck usage. They in turn ask me questions and ultimately recommended the 1.5" for my application. I am completely satisfied with the 5100 zinc's and are a world of improvement over the OEM shocks.
